Embark on a splendid new journey together towards the Golden Decade of BRICS, collaboratively creating sustainable development in the era of intelligence.

The year 2024 marks the fresh beginning of the "Next Golden Decade" for the Belt and Road Initiative and a crucial milestone for the eight major steps in building the Belt and Road with high quality. The promotion of technological innovation, a key element of these steps, will bring infinite possibilities for the modernization of countries worldwide in the era of artificial general intelligence (AGI), and inject strong impetus into the realization of the sustainable development goals of the Belt and Road.

In light of this, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), in collaboration with IEEE China Council, is hosting the "2024 IEEE China Belt and Road Congress on AI for Sustainable Development". They are creating an international exchange platform and building a global collaborative model to reach consensus, harness collective wisdom, unite forces, and plan for the future, with an aim to sustainably build the Belt and Road with high quality.

The conference is scheduled for June 22-23, 2024, in Hangzhou, China, and invites representatives from Belt and Road member countries, government agencies, research institutions, enterprise leaders, academic research organizations, and guests from relevant sectors . Focusing on innovative applications of large-scale AI models, the congress will conduct researches on innovative algorithms and key technologies for large-scale models, explore new paths for AGI, and facilitate sustainable development of AGI along the Belt and Road countries.

The conference is currently open for submissions from all sectors worldwide.

II. Submission Requirements

1. Papers must not have been published in journals or conferences at home or abroad.

2. Manuscripts must be written in English and formatted strictly according to the template requirements.

3. All papers should be submitted online by April 30, 2024, via the submission system at https://aicon2024.casconf.cn/.

4. Length: 5-6 pages.

III. Publication and Indexing

All articles collected for this conference will undergo rigorous review by the program committee. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted to the IEEE Xplore online database for indexing. Outstanding papers, after content expansion, may be recommended to affiliated journals of the conference.
