In order to encourage the cooperation between scholars and enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), together with the Ant Group, has set up the “CAAI-Ant Research Fund”, which is open to scholars from universities and research institutes to conduct research.

Since April 25th, 2024, when the first call for large model special topics was issued, as of May 30th, a total of 233 project declarations were received from 78 universities and research institutes.

After qualification review, preliminary project evaluation by 66 experts in the field of artificial intelligence, and final project evaluation by 11 experts, a total of 17 projects have been selected for this year. The final results of 2024 CAAI-Ant Research Fund (Big Model Special) selection are now announced (see attached table).
