To All Branches and Institutional Members:In accordance with the "Notice from the General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology on Launching the 2026 CAST Young Science and Technology Talent Cultivation Program-Doctoral Student Special Project" (CAST General Office Document No. 20 [2026]), and pursuant to the "Administrative Measures for the CAST Young Science and Technology Talent Cultivation Program-Doctoral Student Special Project," the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence is now accepting nominations for the 2026 CAST Young Science and Technology Talent Cultivation Program-Doctoral Student Special Project. The relevant arrangements are as follows:

Based on the mission and responsibilities of the Association for Science and Technology, this program integrates government and social resources to implement a capacity-building initiative for young scientists and engineers. It aims to help selected participants gain a deeper understanding of China's national conditions, broaden their professional horizons, and gain insight into societal needs. The specific eligibility criteria are as follows.1. Love the motherland, abide by laws and regulations, possess sound political qualities, and have no record of disciplinary or legal violations.

2. Full-time doctoral students who, in principle, hold Chinese citizenship, are no older than 30 years of age (calculated as of August 31 of the application year), and have at least two years remaining until graduation.3. Candidates must be committed to a long-term career in scientific and technological innovation, be diligent in their studies and dedicated to research, demonstrate good academic integrity and moral character, and have no history of academic misconduct.
