
On June 16-17, 2026, the "Intelligence Converges in Longcheng: AI in Changzhou"-a "Visit Changzhou" networking and exchange event for participating companies in the 2026 China "AI+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge-was held in Changzhou. The event was organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and hosted by Changzhou Data Group Co., Ltd., the CAAI Working Committee on Intelligent Products and Industries, and the Zhongguancun Science City Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology Services. Nearly 100 guests-including representatives of high-quality projects from across the country that had advanced to the semifinals, as well as representatives from Changzhou's industrial parks, leading enterprises, and investment institutions-gathered at the West Taihu (Changzhou) International AI Community to discuss technological innovation and industrial implementation in the field of artificial intelligence. As an authoritative organization in China's AI sector, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence continues to use competitions as a platform to promote the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application, thereby helping to ensure the effective implementation of the national "AI+" initiative.
At the start of the event, attendees watched promotional videos featuring the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and the city of Changzhou, gaining a firsthand sense of the Association's industry leadership and Changzhou's vibrant atmosphere of industrial innovation. Wang Jun, Deputy General Manager of Changzhou Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome address on behalf of the host. She noted that Changzhou possesses a comprehensive industrial system that holds a significant advantage over comparable cities nationwide, with a rich and diverse range of manufacturing sectors that provide vast application scenarios and a solid data foundation for the implementation of AI technology. Changzhou views AI not merely as an industry, but as a "nuclear-powered engine" that empowers every sector of the economy. She pointed out that Changzhou has prepared a "comprehensive, low-cost, and highly empowering" entrepreneurial ecosystem for AI entrepreneurs. Through measures such as opening up high-quality application scenarios, providing massive amounts of data and universally accessible computing power, building end-to-end capital support, and creating "zero-cost" incubation spaces, the city is fully committed to supporting high-quality projects as they take root, flourish, and bear fruit in Changzhou.

During the policy presentation session, attendees watched a video on specialized talent policies for artificial intelligence provided by the Changzhou Talent Office, gaining insight into the comprehensive support Changzhou offers to high-level talent and innovation and entrepreneurship teams in the field of artificial intelligence. Subsequently, Zhang Heng, head of the Artificial Intelligence Development Bureau of the Changzhou Science and Education City, gave a special presentation on the West Taihu (Changzhou) International Artificial Intelligence Community.
