On the afternoon of May 6, 2026, the "CAAI Campus Outreach" series event at Beihang University was successfully held, hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI). The event focused on topics including award applications, achievement evaluation, academic funds, and computing power support programs, attracting faculty representatives from the School of Artificial Intelligence, the School of Computer Science, and several other departments.

Mu Yanhong, Deputy Director of the Cooperation and Achievement Office of the Beihang University Science and Technology Research Institute, expressed gratitude in her speech for the long-standing support from CAAI and reviewed the significant outcomes of their collaboration. She noted that Beihang is one of the earliest institutions in China to conduct AI research, hosting national-level research bases such as the National AI Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform and the State Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems, with distinctive strengths in precision intelligence, swarm intelligence, computer vision, and autonomous unmanned systems. She expressed hope that the event would help faculty systematically understand CAAI's service system, building momentum for nurturing high-level research achievements and pursuing major scientific and technological awards.

Professor Chen Wenbai, Deputy Secretary-General of CAAI, systematically introduced the association's development overview, with a focus on explaining the application policies and key review points of the Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award. He also detailed CAAI's specialized service initiatives such as scientific and technological achievement evaluation (achievement appraisal), academic funds, and computing power support programs, providing strong guidance for faculty to grasp critical information for pursuing high-level awards.
