Sixth CAAI Interdisciplinary Strategic Symposium on Social Computing and Social Intelligence Successfully Held at HKUST (GZ)

The Sixth CAAI Interdisciplinary Strategic Symposium on Social Computing and Social Intelligence (SCIISummit 2026) was successfully held from April 17 to 18 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). The symposium was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), jointly organized by the CAAI Technical Committee on Social Computing and Social Intelligence and the Society Hub of HKUST (GZ), and co-organized by Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. The event was also part of the series of celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the founding of HKUST. Nearly 200 experts, scholars, and students from interdisciplinary fields such as social computing and social intelligence gathered at HKUST (GZ). Centered around the theme "Advancing Social Computing for Human–AI Symbiosis," the symposium featured a multi-layered and dynamic format including high-level forums, thematic dialogues, video podcasts, poster competitions, field visits, and interactive experiments, fostering an in-depth and forward-looking cross-disciplinary dialogue with both academic rigor and cutting-edge insights.
