In accordance with the Interim Measures for the Pre-Appointment Public Disclosure of National Society Leaders issued by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Constitution of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and the CAAI Council Election Plan, the 21st Standing Council meeting of the 8th Council of CAAI was held via correspondence from September 27 to October 4, 2024. During this meeting, the formal candidates for President, Vice Presidents (including representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), and Secretary General of the 9th Council were elected, totaling 15 individuals.

The information regarding the proposed leaders of the 9th Council is now being disclosed. The public disclosure period is from November 19 to November 25, 2024 (five working days).
