The "CAAI-Lenovo Blue Sky Research Fund" was jointly established by Lenovo Group and the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) to address open research topics for scholars in universities and research institutions.

The first call for proposals was issued on September 21, 2024, and closed on October 20, 2024. A total of 92 proposals were submitted by researchers from 54 universities and research institutions, covering 15 sub-topics. After eligibility screening and expert reviews, 15 projects have been selected for funding this year.

The final results of the 2024 CAAI-Lenovo Blue Sky Research Fund projects have now been publicly announced.
