On May 22nd, 2024, the “Robot Science Education Enters School Series” hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) jointly with CAAI Committee of Youth Working and the School of Physics and Electromechanical Engineering of Hubei University of Education were successfully held in Xiantao, Hubei Province. In this event, related committee members of CAAI Committee of Youth Working and technology volunteers of the Institute for Robotics in STEAM Education, the School of Physics and Electromechanical Engineering, Hubei University of Education came to the Sha Lake Primary School, Xiantao City, a village school in the Former Site of the Sha Lake Liening Primary School, Xiantao City, Hubei Province. They have served rural education and contributed to rural revitalization in the events on the National Science and Technology Workers’ Day. 

The members from the technology volunteer service team for popular science education for robots of Hubei University of Education led the children in the Class 1, Grade 5 to describe the algorithms for solving problems such as reverse parking of robot cars with natural language and flowcharts in small classes. They have also learned the three basic control structures of algorithms including sequence, branch and loop and had a magic experience of endowing robot cars with life through practical coding and program modification.
