On September 8th, 2022, China Central Television (CCTV)’s “Focus Interview” launched a series documentary named “Leading China”, which focuses on the innovation and development of Chinese sic-tech enterprises and research laboratories over the past decade. For this,  Dai Qionghai, the President of CAAI, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, head of the Imaging and Intelligence Technology Lab of Tsinghua University, was interviewed.

In recent years, the Lab has made remarkable progress in original innovation, as evidenced by the invention of all-analog photoelectronic chip, imaging chip, and scanning light field microscope (DAOSLIMIT), positioning itself at the forefront on the international stage. According to academician Dai Qionghai, their collaboration with life scientists has led to the discovery of a series of new phenomena, which make an array of contributions to brain science, artificial intelligence, immunology, and neurological disorders.
