On August 28th, 2022, the CAAI International Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2022 (CICAI 2022), hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) opened in Yanqi Lake in Beijing. At this conference, the “CAAI Artificial Intelligence Research”, an open-access English international academic journal co-hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and Tsinghua University, and edited by academician Dai Qionghai, was officially released. In 2020, the journal was selected as a new journal with a high starting point in “Excellence Action Plan for China's STM Journals”. It is published by Tsinghua University Press and publicly issued on SciOpen, an international digital publishing platform for scientific and technological journals independently developed by itself.
