Recently, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology officially announced the selected list of the 4th phase of the"the Construction of a First-Class Association with Chinese Characteristics"of the association capacity improvement project. After project application, qualification review, expert review, and result publicity, 50 national associations were finally selected. CAAI was successfully selected and will receive the support of the China Association for Science and Technology for three consecutive years.

In accordance with the requirements of the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for the Development of the China Association for Science and Technology (2021-2025)", the China Association for Science and Technology has implemented the 4th phase of the capacity improvement project based on the remarkable results of the implementation of the former three phases of the project. The special "Project for the Construction of a First-Class Association with Chinese Characteristics" supports and guides the associations to comprehensively deepen reforms, promotes capacity enhancement, and further builds a group of first-class associations models with Chinese characteristics. It also drives the overall improvement of the work of associations, better unites scientific and technological workers to accelerate the construction of world science and technology, strengthens the country and builds a modern socialist country in an all-round way.
