From August 19th to 20th, the "2019 International Artificial Intelligence Dean/Dean Summit " was successfully held in the Shaanxi Hotel Hall.

The summit consists of the Electronic Information Professional Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education, Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence(CAAI), branch of China Education society of electronics, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Northwest University, Shaanxi Provincial Association Automation, Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance of Xi’an, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xidian University Press, Suanier Co., Ltd., Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Image Understanding Ministry of Education, Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Computing International Cooperation, IntelliSense Co-organized with the Computational International Joint Research Center and the National “111” Program Intelligent Information Processing Innovation and Intelligence Base.

While artificial intelligence is booming around the world, the problem of insufficient cultivation of artificial intelligence talents in China and imperfect construction of the education system has become increasingly prominent. In this summit, experts from more than 20 universities and colleges at home and abroad, as well as experts in the field of industry and experts in the field of industry, discussed in depth the frontiers of artificial intelligence development and innovation, artificial intelligence curriculum system and professional construction, talent cultivation and production and research, cooperation and other issues. At the same time, the Ministry of Education's Electronic Information Professional Teaching Steering Committee - Artificial Intelligence Professional Construction Advisory Committee was established on the first day of the summit, and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance of Xi’an was officially unveiled at the summit.

On August 19, the forum officially kicked off under the host of Guangming SHI, Vice Dean at Xidian University.The teaching guidance committee for electronic information majors of the Ministry of Education  - the artificial intelligence professional construction advisory committee was established at the opening ceremony. Xinbo GAO, Vice President of Xidian University, issued a letter of appointment to the members of the committee.

 Quan WANG, assistant to the president of Xidian University , attended the opening ceremony. The guests attending the opening ceremony included leaders and professors from XIdian University of graduate school, scientific research institute, publishing house, school of artificial intelligence  and other departments and colleges.
