With the full start of new infrastructure construction, the Industrial Internet is gradually becoming a new engine for the high-quality development of China's economy. In order to focus on the innovation and entrepreneurship resources, stimulate industrial innovation potential, tap excellent projects and teams of Industrial Internet, and further enhance the ability of Industrial Internet to empower entities and serve the society, Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industry Base Management Committee will hold the "3rd China AI + Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition - Industrial Internet Technology Innovation and Application Competition" from July to September 2021. It provides a competitive platform for the R & D personnel, industry practitioners, university research teams and related enthusiasts engaged in industrial Internet industry innovation and application.

The Way of Competition

1. Participants

Industrial Internet project team, University Industrial Internet project team.

2. Form of competition

Sign up as a team. Each team should have one team leader and one secretary.

3. Registration method

(1) Before August 18, 2021, the participating teams will register online through the registration system of the official website of the CAAI (https://aichina.caai.cn), complete the relevant information input, and download the “Team Registration Form” from the system.The team leader shall sign and affix the official seal of the team on the paper version of the registration form, scan or take a photo and upload it to the registration system before the registration is completed.

(2) The competition organizing committee will review the qualification of the participating teams according to the evaluation rules, and announce the qualified teams on the competition website on August 23, 2021.

4. Scope of Collection

(1) Key technologies: focus on the core common technologies and new cutting-edge technologies of the Industrial Internet and the Internet of Things. Focus on the R&D breakthroughs in intelligent sensors, edge computing, network security, integration 5G, digital twin, AR/VR, artificial intelligence, blockchain, data processing, information security, operational research optimization and other technologies.

(2) Industrial Internet Enabling: focus on the needs and key issues of the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, and focus on various industrial Internet enabling platforms, solutions and APP, such as improving the production support capacity of industrial enterprises, optimizing the core business operation capacity of industrial enterprises, and ensuring the stability and security of the industrial chain and supply chain.

(3) Integration innovation and application: focus on the integration innovation and application that closely integrates "Internet +" with various fields of  the society. Focus on new products, new services, new formats and new models in the fields of smart city, smart energy, intelligent transportation, smart logistics, smart medical care, smart agriculture, smart manufacturing, Internet of vehicles, energy conservation and environmental protection.

5. Project requirements

The project of the participating team should be designed and developed independently. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. If copying or plagiarism is found, the team will be disqualified from participating in the competition, and the right to investigate the relevant legal responsibilities of the applicant will be reserved.

Competition system

The competition is conducted in the form of preliminary competition and final competition.

1. Evaluation methods of preliminary projects

After the deadline for submission of preliminary events, the organizing committee will select the preliminary judges from the list of judges committee to conduct online evaluation on the projects submitted by the participating teams. According to the evaluation results, the final list is determined.

2. Evaluation methods of final projects

On August 23, 2021, the organizing committee will publish the list of teams entering the finals on the competition website. After obtaining the final qualification, each team can improve and modify the project. The Organizing Committee of the competition will arrange experts to coach the projects entering the final for free. The finals will be conducted in the form of offline roadshows by participating teams and on-site scoring by judges. The final time is tentatively scheduled for September 9-10, 2021.

The first, second and third prize winners of the competition will be directly recommended to participate in the 2021 China AI + innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals sponsored by CAAI.

The Organizing Committee of the competition shall be responsible for the explanation of matters not covered.

Supporting activities

1. Industry Project Docking Exhibition on Industrial Internet

The shortlisted projects and excellent enterprises in the industry are preferred to participate in the supporting exhibition activities. The exhibition will be arranged in the outer Hall of the venue with unified design, focusing on the overall situation and work results of China "AI +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and Industrial Internet Technology Innovation and Application Competition.

2. Industry Development Summit Forum on Industrial Internet

During the same period of the event, the Industry Development Summit Forum will be held, and academicians, industry experts and entrepreneurs will be invited to give keynote speeches to discuss the future development direction of industry, stimulate innovative ideas and promote cooperation and exchange.

3. Roadshow of venture capital

All award-winning projects have the opportunity to participate in the special venture capital roadshow, one-to-one "in-depth dialogue" and accurate docking with more than 30 well-known venture capital institutions.

Competition Award

1. There are first prize, second prize, third prize and excellent organization prize in the competition. Bonus and honorary certificate will be given to the winning team: one first prize, 50000 yuan for each team, two second prizes, 30000 yuan for each team, three third prizes, 20000 yuan for each team. Other projects entering the final will be awarded excellent organization prize, 2000 yuan for each team.

2. Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industry Base Management Committee will provide 100 million Science and Technology Innovation Aerospace Seed Fund to invest in outstanding projects with financing intention and great prospects for transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

3. The enterprises of excellent award-winning teams can directly settle in Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industry Base and enjoy exclusive preferential support policies and resource packages such as high rent subsidies and R & D funds subsidies.

4.  For the early projects, they will obtain business guidance and incubation services from national professional incubators, including office space, market development, intellectual property consulting, technical services, industrial and commercial tax law and other support.

5. The Organizing Committee of the competition will organize supporting activities during the finals to provide free diversified services for participating enterprises and teams.

6. Outstanding teams’ achievements can be promoted to participate in the "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award".
