From September 18 to 20, 2026, the Next-Generation Fluorescence Microscopy conference, co-hosted by Tsinghua University, *Nature Photonics*, *Nature*, *Nature Biomedical Engineering*, *Nature Biotechnology*, and *Nature Communications*, will be held in Beijing.
This conference will focus on cutting-edge areas of fluorescence microscopy, featuring specialized sessions on super-resolution microscopy, mesoscopic in vivo imaging, cutting-edge applications in the life sciences, and new methods enabled by artificial intelligence. The agenda spans multiple observational scales and addresses the field's growing need for interdisciplinary dialogue-the deep synergy between advanced imaging technologies and intelligent computational methods will significantly advance the resolution of complex problems in the life sciences.
The conference invited more than 30 internationally renowned scholars, including Nobel laureates, to deliver invited talks. It also featured selected presentations and a poster session to systematically showcase the latest research advances in the field, examine key scientific and technological challenges awaiting breakthroughs, and promote high-level international academic exchange and the exchange of ideas across fields such as microscopy, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence.
