The CAAI-Bose Quantum Computing Application Innovation Fund was jointly launched by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and Bose Quantum Computing. The inaugural fund in 2025 achieved significant results, establishing a "Quantum Computing+" collaborative platform for industry, academia, and research. In 2026, the CAAI-Bose Quantum Computing Application Innovation Fund announced four research projects, continuing to focus primarily on exploring application scenarios for quantum computing technology in fields such as artificial intelligence and optimization. Project 1 involves technical exploration of how coherent optical quantum computers can enable complex distribution modeling and architecture for large models; Project 2 focuses on research to enhance the interpretability and robustness of large models based on coherent optical quantum computers; Project 3 explores natural science technologies and application scenarios based on coherent optical quantum computers; and Project 4 addresses core technological challenges in AI-enabled optical quantum computers (both specialized and general-purpose).
Following eligibility review, written evaluation, and panel review, a total of 11 projects have been selected this year. The list of projects selected for the 2026 CAAI-Bose Quantum Computing Application Innovation Fund is now being announced (see attached table). The public announcement period will last for 3 days (from June 24 to June 26, 2026). Any organization or individual with objections to the published evaluation results must submit them under their real name to the Office of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence by 24:00 on June 26. Anonymous objections will not be accepted.
