To thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on science popularization, enforce the Law of the People's Republic of China on Science and Technology Popularization and the Outline of the National Science Literacy Action Plan (2021-2035), gather high-quality popular science resources, mobilize social forces to carry out popular science practices, resolve the mismatch between the supply of popular science content and the demands of social development and the public, foster and expand the popular science industry, and advance high-quality development of science popularization work, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) hereby organizes the 2026 National High-Quality Popular Science Works Collection Campaign in accordance with the "Notice on Launching the 2026 National High-Quality Popular Science Works Collection Campaign" (Document No. Gangyao Ban〔2026〕2) issued by the Office for the Implementation of the National Science Literacy Outline. Relevant arrangements are notified as follows:

This campaign prioritizes collecting high-quality popular science works that feature sound scientific rigor, original creation and strong communication value, contain innovative content, and are not mass-produced by artificial intelligence:

(1) Basic Science Popularization. Works shall focus on core concepts and fundamental principles of basic disciplines including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and geography, encourage interdisciplinary integration, and integrate knowledge, fun and enlightenment.

(2) Cutting-edge Science and Technology Fields. Works shall cover cutting-edge technological sectors and interdisciplinary frontiers such as artificial intelligence, quantum information, next-generation information technology, biotechnology, new materials, advanced manufacturing and robotics, aerospace technology, deep-sea technology and new energy. They shall interpret core technological logic, research progress, potential application scenarios and ethical challenges, helping the public grasp trends of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation.
