On the morning of June 5, the "CAAI Campus Outreach" event at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) was successfully held. Attendees included Lu Qi, Deputy Director of the SJTU Science and Technology Development Research Institute and Director of the Academic Development and Achievement Office, relevant staff from the Achievement Award Office, research management leaders from various departments, and frontline faculty representatives in the field of artificial intelligence. The meeting was chaired by Ding Lei, Deputy Director of the Academic Development and Achievement Office.

Lu Qi delivered the welcome speech on behalf of SJTU. He noted that SJTU is one of the earliest universities in China to establish AI research programs, and numerous achievements have received the Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award. The university has long benchmarked against authoritative awards such as the Wu Wenjun Award, continuously refining its original research capabilities and steadily advancing the cultivation of various high-level achievements. He expressed hope that the event would serve as an opportunity to help more high-quality research achievements participate in the award process and deepen regular collaboration between the university and the association.

During the presentation session, Professor Chen Wenbai provided an in-depth interpretation of five major areas: an overview of the association, the selection rules of the Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award, the association's scientific and technological achievement evaluation system, academic funds and computing power support, and the development of the Youth Work Committee, accompanied by practical examples. He focused on analyzing the application requirements, evaluation criteria, and key points for achievement evaluation for the Wu Wenjun Award, providing clear guidance for the university to strategically organize applications, and systematically outlined various research support resources available through the association. Following the presentation, attending faculty engaged in on-site discussions with the experts on practical issues such as award applications and project connections.
