On May 21, the "CAAI Visits Universities" special promotional session was successfully held at Hangzhou Dianzi University, organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI).

On behalf of the university, Dean Wu Huifeng welcomed the CAAI delegation, thanked the association for its care and support for HDU, and provided a detailed overview of the university's disciplinary development and research progress in the field of artificial intelligence. He also expressed hope for deepening cooperation and exchanges between both sides to jointly promote high-quality development in AI.

During the session, Professor Chen Wenbai systematically introduced the CAAI's general profile and core services. Founded in 1981, CAAI now has 62 branches covering all subfields of intelligent science and technology. Through activities such as outstanding achievement selections, science and technology award applications, and special fund grants, the association injects strong intelligent momentum into fostering new quality productive forces, building new forms of intelligent economy, and advancing Chinese-style modernization. Professor Chen highlighted the "Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award," explaining in detail its background, application process, evaluation criteria, and more. The session also covered CAAI's third-party science and technology evaluation (appraisal), research funding and computing power projects, and the association's journal, "Journal of Intelligent Technology (English Edition)."
