Artificial intelligence represents the most remarkable major technological advancement of the 21st century. The transformation it brings is more disruptive than previous technological progress, posing long-term challenges for AI ethics and governance. Related critical issues have drawn significant attention from academia, industry, education, regulatory bodies, and the general public. Since 2026 in particular, the pace of AI application deployment has accelerated, and various risks and hidden dangers have begun to erupt in practice. AI ethics and governance have entered an extremely critical period, with AI-related industries facing major opportunities and sharp challenges.
Against this backdrop, and in response to China - s major needs in AI ethics and governance - given the current shortage of professionals and teaching faculty in AI ethics and governance within domestic enterprises, regulatory bodies, and universities - the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) will hold the fifth CAAI online training course on AI and technology ethics.
The training course will be held from March to June, with live lectures every Wednesday evening from 19:30 to 21:55 (three class sessions per evening). Registered participants will have access to course teaching resources and learning guidance through the Ministry of Education - s AI Discipline Teaching Resource Sharing Platform (https://ai.spacekg.com). Registration and all course learning activities are completely free of charge.
