
From February 9 to 10, 2026, the 16th session of the CAAI Frontier AI Lecture Series (CAAI-AIDL), hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-organized by the CAAI Youth Working Committee, the CAAI Member Service Working Committee, and the CAAI Fellows Home (Hangzhou Station), will take place in Hangzhou. Under the theme "Frontier Technologies and Applications of Large Models," this lecture series focuses on the latest advancements and cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence, aiming to provide a high-level platform for learning and exchange for practitioners and researchers in the field.
The event has invited Yao Haipeng, Deputy Director of the Institute of Science and Technology Research and Distinguished Professor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as well as a national-level high-tier talent, to serve as the academic lead. Experts from both industry and academia will be invited to deliver in-depth lectures on key technologies, foundational architectures, multimodal integration, engineering practices, and application expansion related to large models. Combining theoretical instruction with case studies, the lecture series seeks to foster industry-academia-research collaboration and innovation, thereby contributing to cutting-edge AI exploration and talent development in China.
