In the results of the 2025 elections of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering announced on November 21, nine experts from the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence—Hu Dewen, Zhou Zhihua, Yin Zhouping, Deng Zhongliang, Li Shutao, Zhang Yanning, Wu Feng, Guo Yike, and Song Yongduan—were elected as academicians in recognition of their profound academic achievements and leading contributions to the field.
