On 29 March, the “AI Literacy Training Series” was successfully held at the Chengxi Building of the Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. The event was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), organised by the CAAI Committee on Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (CFAI), and co-organised by Yunnan University of Finance and Economics and the Yunnan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Centre for Management and Public Service Informatization.

Combining on-site participation with online and livestream access, the event brought together CAAI experts and over 300 participants (30+ on-site, 300+ online/livestream) including students and faculty from more than 10 universities and vocational colleges such as Dianchi College, Kunming University of Arts and Sciences, Yuxi Normal University, and others, along with AI professionals from inside and outside Yunnan Province.

The event explored practical strategies and future directions for general AI education in higher education, aiming to accelerate the integration of AI literacy and interdisciplinary AI+ teaching and research across universities in Yunnan and nationwide.
