On 2 April, the first session of the “AI Empowering New Industrialisation – In-depth Engagement with SMEs” series, themed “Intelligence Converges in the Bay Area, Innovation Shapes the Future”, was successfully held in Shenzhen. The event was co-organised by the SME Development Promotion Centre of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen SME Service Bureau, Shenzhen AI Industry Office, and the People’s Government of Futian District.

Focusing on deep collaboration between AI enterprises and manufacturing SMEs, the event aimed to leverage large model technology as a breakthrough to accelerate AI application across sectors and promote high-quality development. It attracted more than 200 participants from AI, smart terminals, biopharma industries, and their related SMEs and financial institutions. Through activities like research visits, product showcases, scenario presentations, and supply-demand matchmaking, the event injected fresh momentum into the intelligent transformation and growth of manufacturing SMEs.
