From December 20 to 21, 2024, the 2nd Brain Science and Artificial Intelligence Frontier Forum was held at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The event was jointly hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), organised by the CAAI Brain Science and Artificial Intelligence Special Committee, the Beijing Brainnetome and Brain-inspired Intelligence Society, the CSIG Brain Mapping Special Committee, and the Brainnetome Centre of the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with support from the CAAI Brain-Machine Integration Special Committee.

The forum featured 22 renowned Chinese experts, who delivered academic reports focusing on three key topics: brain science and artificial intelligence, brain-inspired intelligence and brain-computer interfaces, and frontier developments in brain mapping. The event attracted over 300 in-person attendees.
