On November 15-16, 2024, the 13th session of the AI Frontier Seminar (CAAI-AIDL), themed "Generative Artificial Intelligence and Digital Creativity", was held in Hangzhou. The event was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and jointly organised by the CAAI Intelligent Creativity and Digital Arts Committee, the CAAI Member Services Working Committee, and the CAAI Fellows' Club (Hangzhou), with assistance from the Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City (Haichuang Park) Management Committee. The event attracted over 1.06 million online and offline participants.

 The seminar was co-chaired by Professor Sun Lingyun, Chair of the CAAI Committee on Intelligent Creativity and Digital Arts, Dean of the International Design Institute at Zhejiang University, and Vice Dean of the College of Computer Science and Technology, along with Professor Ma Lizhuang, Vice Chair of the same committee and Vice Dean of the Artificial Intelligence Institute at Shanghai Jiaotong University. The event opened with a welcoming speech from Xu Feng, Deputy Secretary-General of CAAI and Tenured Associate Professor at the School of Software, Tsinghua University. Five renowned experts and scholars in the industry also shared their latest research findings.
