From November 15 to 17, 2024, the 13th China Intelligent Industry Summit and Forum for Deans and Renowned Teachers of AI was held in Hangzhou. Discussions centered on topics such as pushing the boundaries of cognitive intelligence, the untapped potential of deep learning, and the path forward for reforming AI education in universities. 

The forum was hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and Zhejiang University, with support from the CAAI Education Committee, Higher Education Press, Zhejiang University’s AI Institute, Beijing Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Beijing University of Technology, the CAAI Fellows’ Home, and Zhejiang University’s AI Education and Teaching Research Center. Featuring 12 keynote speeches, 8 specialized forums, and 5 concurrent events, the forum brought together over 100 experts and scholars, led by academicians. The hybrid event attracted over 7.5 million participants online and offline.
