On August 24, a seminar on academic journals of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) was successfully held in Xi'an. The symposium aims to benchmark the construction of world-class journals, promote the high-quality development and international influence of academic journals in the field of AI in China, provide professional and cutting-edge communication platforms for researchers, academics, educators, and industries, and support China's innovation in intelligent science and technology as well as the development of the intelligent industry.
Prof. Sun Fuchun of Tsinghua University, Vice President of CAAI, presided over the seminar. Fei Rong, deputy dean of the School of Computer Science, Zhang Li, deputy director of the Journal Center of Tsinghua University Press, Ge Haonan, editor of CAAI Artificial Intelligence Research (English), and Zhao Lixin, secretary-general of CAAI Member Service Working Committee and chief planning editor of Science Press, attended the seminar and offered advice and suggestions on the construction of academic journals of the Society.
At present, the Society has four journals—the Journal of Intelligent Technology, the Journal of Intelligent Systems, the CAAI Artificial Intelligence Research (English), and the Newsletter of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence.
