On May 31, the kick-off meeting of the 2024 Baidu Commercial AI Technology Innovation (2024) was successfully held in Beijing. It was hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and co-hosted by Baidu Commerce, and with NVIDIA as the technology partner. Experts and scholars in the field of artificial intelligence attended the meeting, including Liu Chenglin, vice president of CAAI, Wang Fengyang, vice president of Baidu, Inc and head of mobile business system, Li Xipeng, Asia-Pacific director of NVIDIA’s Development and Technology Department, and Liu Lin, director of Baidu Business R&D and head of the Business AIGC Platform.
With the flourishing development of artificial intelligence technology, big models are widely emerging and generative AI is becoming increasingly prevalent, providing new impetus for industrial digital transformation and increasing productivity. It is noticed that maintaining the continuous innovation of AI theories mainly depends on young scholars. In order to promote the continued development of AI technology, CAAI and Baidu Commerce jointly organized the second CTI. Liu Lin released the test questions, which focused on three core topics, "advertisement retrieval based on big model", "generation of advertisement picture description", and "industry intelligence construction". The Competition aims to encourage participants to further explore and innovate AI technology, and to skillfully apply advanced big model technology to business scenarios so as to promote the intelligent process of the advertising industry.
