On April 29th, 2024, the Second Forum on Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Between China and Singapore was successfully held at Nanyang Technological University. On April 30th, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) organized the event “Visiting Enterprises”, leading experts and scholars to visit Huawei International Co. Limited in Singapore, promoting academic exchange and enhancing the integration and progress between industry and academia. 

Huawei International Co, Limited is chosen for two reasons. On one hand, the association strongly supports the overseas Chinese tech companies. On the other hand, the association wanted to further enhance the exchange and cooperation between academia and enterprises through this event, creating new opportunities for collaborative innovation between industry and academia.

At this event, the experts and scholars visited Huawei’s AI Lab in Singapore and deeply discussed with Huawei’s scientists about the scientific research results, application scenarios, practical examples and industrial cooperation related to AI. They deeply engaged in a dialogue about how to better use artificial intelligence technology to promote the development of a digital economy and build an intelligent society. They also discussed the potential cooperation projects in the future.
