From October 14th to 15th,2023, the first AI Ethics and Governance Conference, hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI),  organized by CAAI Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance Working Committee and the Department of Philosophy at Sun Yat-sen University (Zhuhai), and co-organized by the Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Governance Courses in Key Area, was successfully held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province. Nearly 300 experts and scholars from various universities, research institutions and enterprises participated in the conference, both in-person and online.
