On May 30th, 2023, hosted by Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence（CAAI）, organized by CAAI Professional Committee of social Computing and Social Intelligence, Institute of Sociology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Institute of Digital China, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the academic salon on “opportunities and challenges brought by generative AI for philosophical and social science research “was successfully held.

Experts, scholars, and practitioners from different disciplines participated in this salon. They engaged in exchanges and discussions regarding the impact of generative AI on philosophy and social sciences, with a particular focus on the value and ethics of human beings in generative AI.

From July 15th to 17th, the China National Conference on Big Data & Social Computing (BDSC2023) will be held in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The meeting will be hosted by CAAI，and co-organized by CAAI Professional Committee of Social Computing and Social Intelligence and Xinjiang Institute of Engineering.
