On May 21, 2023, on the occasion of the 7th National Science and Technology Workers’ Day, CAAI successfully held the Symposium on Artificial Intelligence Journals in Wuhu, Anhui. The event was attended by esteemed experts including Vice Chairman of CAAI, Prof. Sun Fuchun at Tsinghua University, Cai Zhongtao, Secretary-General of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association, Peng Xi, President of the Chongqing University of Technology Journal Press, Prof. Lan Xuguang at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Prof. Liu Xiaofeng at Hohai University, Prof. Cheng Hong at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Prof. Li Tieshan at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Associate Professor Ji Mengqi at Beihang University, Prof. Zhang Xuebo at Nankai University, Gao Hongbo, Research Fellow at the University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. Wen Zhenkun at Shenzhen University, Prof. Mu Chaoxu at Tianjin University, Prof. Zhou Wenju at Shanghai University, and Prof. Liu Huaping at Tsinghua University. Additionally, experts from the editorial department of the AI journals also participated in the event, including Meng Wei, Deputy Director of CAAI Transactions on Intelligent Systems, Yang Can, Deputy Director of AI and Autonomous Systems, and Ge Haonan, Editor of CAAI Artificial Intelligence Research.

The hosting of the symposium by CAAI has promoted communication and positive interaction among AI journals. It has laid a solid foundation for resource integration and sharing as well as establishing academic journal partnership. Furthermore, it has expanded the influence of the association.
