On December 30, 2022, the General Meeting of CAAI Professional Committee of Brain Computer Fusion and Biological Machine Intelligence (hereinafter referred to as the “Professional Committee”) was held online.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Xiao Bin of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, a representative of the CAAI Committee of Organizing.

Professor Pan Gang at Zhejiang University was elected as the new director of the professional committee by the vote of the committee members. Professor Li Guanglin of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Yao Dezhong of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Professor Li Yuanqing of South China University of Technology, Professor Wang Yueming of Yuhang Institute of Brain-Machine Interface Research, Zhejiang University, Professor Wu Xia of Beijing Normal University, and Professor Chen Xun of University of Science and Technology of China were elected as the new deputy directors of the professional committee. Qi Yu, a researcher from Zhejiang University, was nominated by the director of the professional Committee and voted by the committee members as the new Secretary-General.
