On September 1, 2021, the CAAI issued the second selection notice of the "CAAI-Huawei MindSpore Academic Award Fund". In view of the current active application of projects, the CAAI and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. decided to additionally support 40 A projects, 10 B projects. The deadline for application has been extended to October 31, 2021. Eligible teams and projects are welcome to actively participate.

"CAAI-Huawei MindSpore Academic Reward Fund" was jointly initiated by CAAI and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. to build an academic exchange platform for AI researchers in universities and research institutes, and provide resources such as funding, computing power, technical support, etc. It aims to promote the application of MindSpore in the field of AI research, and support the publication of academic papers in high-level international and domestic conferences and journals based on the MindSpore framework. It also encourages the development of original scientific research, and builds the global influence of China's artificial intelligence research.

The selected projects will be funded in two categories:

Type A: The quota is 90,000, and the number of planned support projects is not more than 70;

Type B: The quota is 180,000, and the number of planned support projects is not more than 20.

For specific content, please submit the application materials according to the "Application Guidelines" (see the attachment for details).
