The nomination for the L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards

Established in 1998, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards recognize and support five outstanding women scientists from Africa, Arab, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America, with an Award of €100,000.

Six Chinese women scientists, including Fanghua LI, Yuru Ye, Yonghua REN, Yi XIE, Hualan CHEN and miman ZHANG, have won this award, which has enhanced the international image of women scientists in China. The awards are selected in Life and Environmental Sciences or Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science in alternating years. The field of 2022 edition is Life and Environmental Science.

The nomination for the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards in 2022 has been launched. The nomination adopts the way of individual experts nominating candidates. Experts with nomination qualification can directly log in to the official website of “For Women in Science International Awards "(www.forwomeninscience.com) to submit candidate materials (new users need to register an account and user password). 

The applications deadline for online submission of the nomination is May 31st, 2021. After the nomination, please send the candidate’s resume and recommended materials to msc-js@caai.cn.
