Public announcement on donation and its use for COVID-19 in Wuhan

CAAI is concerned about people in Wuhan. On February 2, at the proposal of Dai Qionghai, CAAI President, CAAI launched the relevant initiative of "We take on the role of anti epidemic and rescue Wuhan" for all directors, branches and members. Over the past few days, CAAI has been giving help, actively responding to and actively donating, and supporting the epidemic area with practical actions to do its best to fight the epidemic. At the strong request of members, the original deadline for donation will be extended from February 10, 2020 to February 12. As of 16:00 on February 12, CAAI has received a total of RMB 437,699.67 in donations from 695 individuals through bank transfer and Alipay transfer.
The charity donations raised by CAAI are all directed to Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of science and technology, a key hospital in the epidemic area, through Wuhan Charity Federation. At the request of the hospital, the charity fund was used to purchase 6 navigation and service robots, and part of the money was directly donated to the hospital.
