From October 12th to 13th, the 7th China Intelligent Industry Summit (CIIS) hosted by Chinses Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) was held in Foshan City, Guangdong Province. More than 2,000 experts and scholars from the scientific research institutions at home and abroad and representatives from related industries attended the conference.

Deyi LI, Chairman of the CAAI, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering（CAE）, and Vice President of the conference, and Wei SHEN, Vice President of NVIDIA Global delivered speeches respectively in the conference. Focusing on the concepts of “Innovation, Harmonization, Green, Openness and Sharing”, the conference thoroughly interprets and shares the innovative development of artificial intelligence by delivering AI master theme reports.

In the theme report session, Deyi LI, Bohu LI, Consultant of the Science and Technology Committee of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp, Fuchun SUN, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the Cognitive Systems and Information Processing Committee of the CAAI, and Shui SHI, Professor of Tsinghua University, vice president of Beijing Tulsi Information Technology Co., Ltd., respectively addressed reports titled AI: Accelerator for Human Society Development, Smart Manufacturing Cloud - An Intelligent Manufacturing System in the Age of “Internet + Artificial Intelligence + Big Data" , Artificial Intelligence and Industry Soaring, and Reflections on the Development of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. These wonderful presentations expand the boundaries of artificial intelligence while also pointing the way for future development and application practices.

The summit forum also had a high-level dialogue session with the theme of “Construction of Open, Innovative and Shared Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem”. Professor Xiangyang JI from Tsinghua University, winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar, Guoping HU, Deputy Secretary General of CAAI, Dean of the Institute of IFLYTEK CO.,LTD, Dean of the Big Data Research Institute, Zhenjiang DONG, Associate Dean of the Cloud Computing and IT Research Institute of ZTE Corporation, Deputy Director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Big Data Systems Computing Technology, Simon See ,Chief System Architect of NVIDIA Asia Pacific, and Visiting Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Chen You, Chairman of Guangdong Jiateng Robotics Automation Co., Ltd., Biao LIN, Executive R&D Director of Shangtang Technology Group, Professor of Sun Yat-Sen University, and National Top Ten Talents, Zhong SU, Director of IBM China Research Institute, and chief scientist of the director, big data and cognitive computing research direction, Wang Changhu, technical director of the Tou Tiao artificial intelligence laboratory, Pinpin ZHU, founder and CEO of the

“small i robot”,and other 9 experts and scholars from the fields of production, learning and research fields of artificial intelligence have proposed their understanding of the artificial intelligence ecosystem and had a further understanding and conception through exchanging ideas. in the end, they reached a theoretical consensus on building open, innovative and sharing systems.

On the second day of the conference, the Intelligent Transportation Forum, NLP and Service Robot Forum, Intelligent Robot Forum, Artificial Intelligence Youth Innovation Summit, Artificial Intelligence + Legal Forum, and Extension Intelligent Innovation Development Forum were set up to promote the development of China's artificial intelligence and scientific research, exchanges and discussions in various industries.

Based on the successful experience of its six precedents, this conference also grasped the strategic opportunities for the current artificial intelligence to be written into government work reports, and brings together thousands of famous Chinese scholars in AI Academia and Industry, and many top experts and industry elites to conduct further exchange and discussion on  artificial intelligence technology, investment, innovation, industry application of multiple dimensions, technological innovation and industry transformation strategies of artificial intelligence development, so as to find a way to decipher the password of artificial intelligence entrepreneurship and business model.
