According to the Notice of the General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology on Organizing the Recommendation of Academician Candidates for the 2017 Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (The Releasing Department of General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology 2016 No. 38), CAAI launched the initial review meeting of the 2017 academician recommendation. After rhe examination panel of academician recommendation expert committee of CAAI voted on the spot, the material review panel to reviewed the materials, the CAAI decided to recommend Professor Hu Dewen to the Chinese Association for Science and Technology as an academician candidate for the 2017 Chinese Academy of Sciences. The publicity period is from February 15 to February 21, 2017. During the publicity period, people’s objection, if any, can be reported in their real name to the Secretariat Office of CAAI with their contact information and supporting materials. We will keep their identity confidential.
