The Selection Activity of the 7th "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award" in 2017 (National Science Awards No. 0218) has been officially launched in order to accelerate the implementation of the "Made in China 2025" and "Internet +" strategies, through the recommendation and selection of outstanding smart scientific and technological achievements and industrialization projects, to give full play to the artificial intelligence technology’s supporting role in smart manufacturing and enterprise transformation and upgrading, to promote the development of smart science and technology innovation in China, to reward institutions and individuals that have made outstanding contributions in smart scientific research activities, and to better serve the vast number of smart science and technology workers and all members.
