In order to grasp the global development frontier and application trend of intelligent manufacturing enabling technology, master the characteristics and implementation strategies of intelligent manufacturing applications in various industries, guide Chinese manufacturing enterprises to realize transformation and upgrade through the practice of intelligent manufacturing, and promote the development of intelligent manufacturing industry in China, Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance of Cast Member Societies (IMAC) will carry out the recommendation and selection of "Advances in Intelligent Manufacturing Technology in 2018".

The purpose of this activity is to grasp the development trend of Intelligent Manufacturing and guide the development of Intelligent Manufacturing in China. The selection materials will be recommended by 13 member societies of IMAC. After the preliminary and final evaluation, the ten major scientific and technological advances in Intelligent Manufacturing in the world and the ten major scientific and technological advances in Intelligent Manufacturing in China are finally formed (hereinafter referred to as "double ten"). The selected scientific and technological achievements will be released at the World Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing in 2018 and will be publicized as major research achievements of the IMAC in 2018.

As a member of the IMAC, the CAAI is now determined to cooperate with the alliance to collect the recommended materials for "Advances in Intelligent Manufacturing Technology in 2018" on May 29. The work plan for recommendation and selection is detailed in the annex.
