Hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence(CAAI), the First China “AI” Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit in 2018 was grandly held in Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, in Foshan, Guangzhou, Guangdong province. The summit brought about many famous experts and scholars who come from nationwide artificial intelligence field, as well as industrial elites and representatives of science and technology industries. Based on the theme of “Innovation fuels the future, Intelligence changes the Present”, they jointly discussed the new development trend of AI.

       Lots of experts and scholars and city leaders in Foshan attended the summit, among them were Qin ZHANG, who is the member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, academician of the International Nuclear Energy Academy (INEA), and the director of the special committee for artificial intelligence with uncertainty of the CAAI; Jiahua CAI, the executive mayor of Foshan city; Liwei XUAN, secretary of the party committee of Foshan Science and Technology Bureau; Yi LIU, deputy secretary of Shunde district, deputy of the management committee of China-Germany Industry Service Area.

       Academician Qin ZHANG delivered a speech at the summit, he viewed that AI has become a hot subject in the field of academy and industry at present, and also supported by China with important special policies, which is the opportunity for the development of AI in domestic. The First China “AI” Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit was held at the right time, with the win-win cooperation of Industry and academy, Mr.ZHANG expressed his strong perspective that AI technology could enhance a long term and significant development, building a bridge with industry field to promote AI technology a real landing, producing more AI products to benefit to people’s life, and eventually boost the AI’s development for China and the world.

     On the morning, industrial application and integrated innovation and cutting edge subjects and hot topics in the field of AI industrial were deeply discussed in the section of keynote speech by many academic elites, who are academician Qin ZHANG, Shaoping MA, professor at Tsinghua University, vice chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and Jun Huan, director of Beijing Baidu Big Data Lab , at the same time, they brought about 5 excellent keynote speeches for people.

   Among which, academician Qin ZHANG made professional analysis on artificial intelligence intelligent auxiliary diagnosis of medical industry application scenarios from the perspective of the academy, showing some intelligent application cases of intelligent software and the broad application prospective of AI. With a combination of Deep Blue , AlphaGO, and spam page recognition and other current AI cases, professor Shaoping MA gave a wonderful speech , during which he professionally explained and taught the 60 years development process of the global artificial intelligence. Director Jun HUAN explained in detail of baidu AutoDL technology that is an open AI technology, helping small and medium-sized start-ups apply artificial intelligence technology and promote the role of artificial intelligence. Zhenyun SHI, technology founder of Beijing Sensingtech co. LTD, researcher at Beihang University, discussed the application achievements, problems to be solved and some related questions of AI in computer vision from the perspective of industrialization. Haibo YAO, co-founder of Kinzon Capital, from the perspective of an investor, on the topic of intelligence manufacturing ,especially in the field of intelligent travel technology, combined with the company's current smart travel related investment cases, he discussed the artificial intelligence manufacturing developing investment strategies and new opportunities. His speech spurred great strength for the investment in artificial intelligence.

       On the afternoon, under the auspices of two excellent experts,  Minghui XIONG, professor and doctoral supervisor at Sun Yat-sen University, and Naigong YU, general secretary of science popularization working committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, professor at Beijing University of Technology, two talks were held to discuss by over 10 experts in the academic field and representatives in the industrial field on the topic of “AI Plus Law” and “Intelligent Robot”, and they talked about the application prospect of artificial intelligence to traditional industries and intelligent robot in the future.

Holding the Frist China “AI” Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit in 2018 is to implement the country's strategic layout.
