On May 31，Forum on Big Data of Intelligence 2019 was held successfully in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The forum was sponsored by the CAAI (Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence) and Chongqing Artificial Intelligent Institute, jointly hosted by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications and IFLYTEK co.ltd., and co-organized by Chongqing University, Sounthwest University, Chonqing University of Technology, Professional Committee for Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery of the CAAI, Wu Wenjun reward office of the CAAI and Chongqing Cloud Computing and Big Data Industrial Association, etc. The forum was guided by Chongqing Big Data Application Development Administration and Chongqing Association for Science and Technology. More than 400 participants came from several colleges, science and research institutes enterprises and public institutions, and representatives of teachers and students of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Qinghua, ZHANG, professor at school of computer science and technology, presided over the forum.

Lin LING, party secretary and professor of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) ,  pointed out that the college will positively implement the important task “ Making CQUPT an experimental site, talents and science and technology highland for Big Data Intelligence in Chongqing". CQUPT will Strengthen planning layout in the field of big data and artificial intelligence, accelerate scientific research and talent training in relevant fields, and strive to provide talent support and intellectual support for the development of intelligent big data industry in Chongqing.        

Fan YANG, director of Chongqing Big Data Application Development Administration, mentioned that China attaches great importance to the development of big data industry and explores new growth drivers and development paths by exploring new technologies, new forms of business and new models. He also said Chongqing Big Data Application Development Administration takes the promotion of big data application as the core, actively promotes the digitization, networking and intelligent transformation in various fields, and earnestly promotes the intelligent development of big data in Chongqing.

Guoyin WANG, professor of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, spoke on behalf of the CAAI and Chongqing Artificial Intelligence Institute. The forum aims to further promote and implement the development strategy plan of the state and Chongqing municipality, and better serve scientific research and social services in the field of intelligent science and technology. It is also one of the theme activities to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mr. Wu Wenjun's birth.

Youcheng YU, director of Wu Wenjun award office, expressed that experts and scholars from all walks of life used this forum opportunity to discuss scientific and technological issues related to the field of big data intelligence and recall Mr. Wu Wenjun's academic life course of science and innovation. The Wu Wenjun award is reputed as the highest award in the field of intelligent science and technology in China and the highest honor in the field of artificial intelligence in China, and enjoying a high reputation in the whole society.
