The review of the 8th Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award in 2018 has been completed. According to the "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Awards Regulations" and "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Awards Implementation Rules" related regulations, through the nominations and recommendations of local artificial intelligence societies, universities, research institutes, CAAI group members and senior academicians, scholars, we have received a total of 329 projects. After formal review, 110 of the submitted projects entered the preliminary and

final evaluation of the meeting. We proposed to award 70 achievements, including 1 for Wu Wenjun's Artificial Intelligence Outstanding Contribution Award, 15 for Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award, 13 for Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Invention Award, 18 for Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Progress, 11 for Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Progress Award Enterprise Technology Innovation Project, 1 for Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Progress Award Popular Science Project, 11 for Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Excellent Youth Award.

Approved by Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award Committee and approved by the Chairman of CAAI, the 8th Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award winners are now publicized on the official website of CAAI(www.caai.cn) and Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence and Technology Awards official website (www.wuwenjunkejijiang.cn), accepted by the social supervision. October 8th to October 20th, 2018 is the objection period. During this period, any unit or individual has objection to the authenticity of the content of the award-winning results. Please submit your opinions and supporting

materials to the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Awards Office in real name and in writing. Any objections that are anonymous and beyond the specified time will not be accepted.
