The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I The 15th China young female scientist award

(I)The scope and conditions of the selection

1. Support the party's line, principles and policies, be firm in ideology and politics, love the motherland, be honest in work style, abide by discipline and law, have a good style of study, and abide by scientific ethics;

2. Young leading talents in science and technology who have made significant discoveries and achievements in basic science or life science, especially the leading talents in the innovation team;

Chinese female scientists and technicians under the age of 45 (born on or after July 1, 1973);

4. The scope of selection does not include the field of engineering technology and the field of confidentiality.

(2) recommended quota

The institute recommends 1-2 candidates in the field of artificial intelligence;

(3) nomination of experts

1. Scope of nomination of experts

(1) member of the standing committee of the ninth national committee of cast;

(2) academicians of the Chinese academy of sciences and the Chinese academy of engineering (excluding foreign academicians);

(3) past winners of the China young women scientists award (excluding future female scientists).

2. Conditions of nomination

The age of the nominated expert shall not exceed 65, and the age of the academician may be relaxed to 70.

3. Nomination rules

Three nominated experts may jointly nominate one candidate for the 15th China young female scientist award in their discipline (first-level discipline).

Responsibilities and obligations

(1) the nominated expert shall bear the responsibility of nomination, objection and reply, and shall be responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of relevant materials;

(2) before the formal nomination to cast, the nomination of experts shall be subject to the consent of the candidate and his/her work unit;

(3) the nominated experts shall strictly abide by the relevant confidentiality provisions and the withdrawal system.

II. 2018 female scientists of the future plan

(I)The scope and conditions of the selection

1. Love the motherland, abide by disciplines and laws, be honest and trustworthy, study diligently and study assiduously, have good academic style and moral quality, and show strong scientific research ability and development potential;

2. Engaging in research work in the field of basic science or life science, except for research projects involving animals (such as experimental vertebrates) and cosmetics;

3. Chinese female candidates under 35 years of age (born on or after July 1, 1983) who are doctoral candidates or postdoctoral candidates (candidates with student status or working relationship should be in China; doctoral candidates should be full-time);

4. It shall have a scientific research project to be funded by the project, and the duration of such research project shall not be less than 12 months after the funding is obtained.

(2) recommended quota

The institute recommends 1-2 candidates in the field of artificial intelligence;

(III)Recommend job requirements

(I) each recommender shall clearly participate in the China young female scientist award or the future female scientist program, and shall not participate in two projects at the same time.

(II) adhere to the principle of "openness, fairness, fairness and selection", broaden the channels of recommendation, strictly enforce the conditions of selection and ensure the quality of selection.

(III) the candidates recommended for the China young female scientist award should give priority to outstanding young female scientific and technological workers who have been working in the front-line of scientific research and production and the western region for a long time. The future women scientists programme recommends candidates who focus not only on the achievements and potential of the research they have undertaken, but also on the innovation of the projects they intend to apply for funding.

(IV) the candidate's recommendation materials shall be the main basis of the review, and shall be concise and to the point, highlighting the key points. Relevant reports of non-academic newspapers, journals and websites shall not be used as supporting materials, and relevant columns of the recommendation form shall not be filled in for non-academic posts (part-time) or non-science and technology awards. The electronic version of the material and the corresponding paper version of the material must be consistent.

(V) the candidate's recommendation materials shall not involve state secrets, and the unit to which the candidate belongs shall issue a certificate of confidentiality examination. Materials that violate the confidentiality provisions shall be disqualified from recommendation.

IV. Submission of material requirements

The recommended materials submitted include electronic materials and written materials.

Electronic materials

Electronic materials through the Chinese young women scientists award recommend and review of management system (http://qnnkxjj.cast.org.cn). Please register with the "candidate registration password" and fill in the form. "Recommended unit user name, password, candidate registration code" will be sent separately, you can contact information below. The deadline for online submission is September 8, 2018.

2. Written materials of candidates for the China young female scientist award

(1) the recommendation form for candidates of the 15th China young female scientist award is made in 5 copies, including 1 original and 4 copies. Please do not attach the cover. After successfully filling in the electronic materials with the recommendation and evaluation management system of China young female scientist award, the recommendation form must be printed in the system.

(2) one set of attached materials, including representative papers (no more than 3), catalogues of major scientific and technological achievements, and relevant certification materials such as cited information, technical appraisal, intellectual property rights, technical application, and awards. Monographs (no more than 1) may be attached separately.

(3) certificate of confidentiality examination issued by the candidate's employer.

3. Written materials for future female scientists program candidates

(1) the candidate recommendation form for the 2018 future female scientist program is made in 5 copies, including 1 original and 4 copies. Please do not attach the cover. After successfully filling in the electronic materials with the recommendation and evaluation management system of China young female scientist award, the recommendation form must be printed in the system.

(2) doctoral students should provide a certificate issued by the graduate school, indicating their major and expected graduation date; Post doctoral degree certificate and work agreement are required.

(3) certificate of confidentiality examination issued by the candidate's employer (school).

4. Submission requirements for expert nomination

The nominating expert shall sign his/her recommendation and signature on the recommendation form of the candidate nominated by him/her. Before the nomination experts start the nomination work, they can contact the following contact information to obtain the user name and password of the system.
