On the afternoon of September 2, the "CAAI Visits Universities and Research Institutions" special presentation session at Guangzhou University-organized by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and hosted by the Guangzhou University Institute of Science-was successfully held. Dong Keqin, Dean of the Guangzhou University Institute of Science, attended and presided over the event, which was attended by faculty and student representatives from relevant colleges.

Next, Professor Chen Guang from the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) delivered a keynote presentation, providing a systematic overview of the association's general profile, development history, and operational framework. He focused on explaining the structure, application requirements, and evaluation process of the Wu Wenjun Prize for Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology. As the highest honor in China's artificial intelligence field, the "Wu Wenjun Prize" aims to recognize individuals and organizations that have achieved major breakthroughs and made outstanding contributions in the field of intelligent science and technology. Next, Ms. Liu Yanna from the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) delivered an in-depth presentation on the association's core resources and service system. She detailed the processes and value of CAAI's scientific and technological achievement evaluation services, which provide robust support for clarifying the academic value and commercialization pathways of research outcomes, as well as for achievement appraisal, project acceptance, and award applications; She also elaborated on topics of great interest to faculty and students, such as the CAAI Academic Fund and the Computing Power Support Program. These initiatives provide universities with substantial research funding, much-needed computing infrastructure, channels for deep collaboration with industry, and platforms to enhance the quality of talent development and academic influence, thereby helping universities seize a competitive edge in the "AI+" era.
