The digital economy and intelligent technologies are reshaping global development, and building an open, inclusive, and collaborative international cooperation ecosystem has become a shared vision among Asia - s innovation hubs. In August 2025, the State Council of China issued the "Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the 'AI+' Action" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"), which calls for accelerating the global cooperation action of "AI+", promoting the inclusive sharing of artificial intelligence, jointly building a global AI governance system, and making AI an international public good that benefits humanity.
Singapore, as a key hub for the digital economy in Asia, is comprehensively advancing the deep integration of cutting-edge AI technologies and governance models. Its "National AI Strategy 2.0" aims to position Singapore as an ambitious yet pragmatic international partner in AI technology innovation and management, striving to become a smart nation with extensive AI applications by 2030 and a global leader in innovative AI solutions.
Against this backdrop, the Third China-Singapore Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence Summit Forum, jointly organized by the National University of Singapore and the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), will be held on September 29 - 30, 2025 in Singapore. The summit will bring together technology innovators and industry practitioners in the digital economy and AI from both countries to create an international platform for high-level academic exchange, achievement sharing, resource matching, and innovation collaboration. It will promote mutual learning and shared progress between China and Singapore in intelligent upgrading and digital transformation, contribute to China - s "AI+" global cooperation action, and open up broader international space for China-Singapore collaboration in the intelligent era.
