Notice on the Call for Submissions for the "Light of Science Popularization" National Science Popularization

In accordance with the overall plan for the 2026 National Science Popularization Month, the Department of Science Popularization of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) will continue to organize the "Light of Science Popularization" large-scale online exhibition and broadcast event for National Science Popularization Month. This initiative aims to identify and gather high-quality science popularization works from across the country to showcase the achievements of scientific and technological innovation and the effectiveness of science popularization practices. In accordance with the relevant directives from the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) is now accepting submissions for the "Light of Science Popularization" National Science Popularization Month Large-Scale Online Exhibition. The relevant details are as follows.

Chasing the Light, Pursuing Dreams: Science Popularization Tour of China Broadcast Period: September 1-30, 2026 Submission Period: From now until July 7, 2026 The broadcast campaign is scheduled to run for 30 consecutive days and will showcase, from multiple perspectives, the achievements of science popularization across the country, scientific and technological innovations, the spirit of scientists, distinctive venues, science popularization for the public, and scientific culture. In addition to broadcasting existing resources from "Science Popularization China," the campaign will follow a "submission, selection, and broadcast" workflow to prioritize the collection and display of a selection of high-quality science popularization videos.

1. Highlight Reels from National Science Popularization Month Activities. These are science popularization videos recorded during this year's National Science Popularization Month, featuring science exhibitions, themed carnivals, and other events organized by various regions and departments, with a focus on showcasing the highlights and unique characteristics of local activities. 2. Videos featuring visits to science venues and science education bases. These videos focus on the unique styles and scientific highlights of local science venues and science education bases, fully demonstrating their important roles in disseminating scientific knowledge, promoting the scientific spirit, and serving the general public.
