The workshop titled "Building Your Hospital's Own AI System: A Hands-On Guide from Data, Models to Agent Applications" is now open for enrollment. It is intended for professionals from hospital information centers, clinical departments, medical administration, quality control, operations, nursing, pharmacy, research management, and related units of medical institutions nationwide, as well as researchers from universities and scientific institutions and practitioners in medical AI. The workshop will be held on the morning of May 23, 2026, at Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University.

As a core training component of the Medical AI Special Session and the 3rd Large Language Models in Medicine (LLaMMs) Symposium, part of the 2026 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference, this workshop focuses on the real-world needs of AI capability building in hospitals. With the distinctive feature of "building AI applications through natural language conversation," the workshop will cover topics including medical large language models and Agent principles, hands-on Agent development, AI application factories, data synthesis and annotation, model training and evaluation, and boundary control. Through step-by-step teaching methods such as specialized lectures, scenario demonstrations, on-site practice, simulation exercises, and interactive Q&A, participants will learn the pathway to building a hospital AI system from data and models to agent applications.

Even without coding knowledge, participants can engage in building hospital AI applications. They will learn how to create medical agents, doctor assistants, hospital AI portals, digital doctor avatars, and personalized medical AI applications through natural language conversation.

The workshop is limited to 60 participants. Seats will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis upon successful payment of the registration fee. Participants who complete the course hours will receive a training certificate issued by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI).
