The CAAI-Bose Quantum Computing Application Innovation Fund, jointly launched by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and Bose Quantum, achieved significant results in its inaugural year in 2025, establishing $1 Quantum Computing+, industry-academia-research collaboration platform.
The 2026 CAAI-Bose Quantum Computing Application Innovation Fund has announced four research topics:
Topic 1: Technical exploration of coherent optical quantum computers empowering large model complex distribution modeling and architecture;
Topic 2: Research on enhancing the interpretability and robustness of large models based on coherent optical quantum computers;
Topic 3: Exploration of natural science and technology applications and scenarios based on coherent optical quantum computers;
Topic 4: AI-driven core technology breakthroughs in optical quantum computers (specialized and general-purpose).
This year - s fund provides grants of RMB 150,000 to 200,000 per project, with plans to support 5 to 10 projects. Each project has a one-year collaboration period.
The project briefing session will be held online on April 29 at 15:00. Gao Qi, R&D Director at Bose Quantum, has been invited to give an in-depth introduction to the research topics. Teachers and young scholars interested in applying are welcome to participate actively and submit proposals.
